Here is our latest doctor news to keep you updated on GP changes at the practice.
Dr Meadows
As you may already know, we were so sorry that Dr Jeremy Meadows, who had been such an important part of the medical team, decided to give up general practice fully at the end of March.
With the retirement of his wife earlier this year, an eye specialist, they wish to develop their mutual interests together after many years of providing medical care – in Jeremy’s case as a partner in a very busy NHS practice in Southampton before joining us in 2016.
We wish them both every happiness in the future.
Dr Topping
We are looking forward to Dr Edwin Topping joining us this month and confident that he will prove equally popular and caring as Jeremy had been. Ned, as he likes to be called, trained in Southampton, qualified in 2012 and gained his MRCGP in 2018. He has been working as a GP until now at a practice in Havant. He grew up near Salisbury, so was very keen to return to the area.
Ned and his wife (also a GP) have a young daughter and are now living in Bishopstone. He has a particular interest in men’s health and the health of older patients, together with comprehensive GP experience.
Dr Pope
Many of you will already be aware that Dr Jo Pope has return to us, after leaving when it had been thought that her husband would be posted abroad. These plans changed so we are delighted she is back again. She has an interest in the menopause, women’s health and psychological problems.
