Our priority is your health

Our Practice

With modern healthcare becoming increasingly complex and challenging, Southern Independent Medical Practice was founded in 1994 with the purpose of providing an affordable, high-quality private GP service. As the only private practice in the region, we offer an unrivalled breadth of medical services across the South of England from our base in central Salisbury.

While our warm and welcoming environment puts patients at ease, our experienced team is able to take the proper amount of time for unhurried and in-depth consultations. We place a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare too – spotting potential problems before they have a chance to develop more seriously, and keeping patients in peak condition. And with 24-hour phone access to a GP, Southern Independent offers complete peace of mind.

Because we’re a private practice, we can work independently of political control – meaning we’re free to focus solely on your welfare, and address all your health concerns with efficiency and compassion. Our affordable HealthPlan scheme includes unlimited access to our GPs, along with an annual health check.

We are also able to do one-off consultations for any non-member patients at the practice.
