Our Practice

We were founded in 1994 with the purpose of providing an affordable, high-quality private GP service. We offer a breadth of medical services across the South of England from our base in central Salisbury.

Our experienced team are able to take the time for unhurried and in-depth consultations. We place a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare too – spotting potential problems before they have a chance to develop more seriously.

Our affordable HealthPlan scheme includes unlimited access to our GPs, along with an annual health or Wellperson check. Our GPs can recommend and arrange investigations, including blood tests, where clinically indicated as pare of your care.

We are also able to do one-off consultations for any non-member patients at the practice. We are also able to offer a complete range of vaccinations.

Dr Ben Kay
BM (2001) MSc (Dermatology) FRCGP

Ben is an experienced General Practitioner providing comprehensive, personalised care for individuals and families of all ages. With two decades’ experience as an NHS GP Partner in Salisbury prior to taking over the practice in 2026, he combines traditional family medicine with advanced expertise in skin conditions.

He graduated from the University of Southampton and was awarded MRCGP with Distinction. He later completed a Master’s Degree with Distinction at Cardiff University and holds a Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy. He also worked for over six years as a Clinical Assistant in Dermatology at Salisbury District Hospital and is recognised as a GP with Extended Role (GPwER) in Medical Dermatology.

While his practice remains firmly rooted in broad, holistic general medicine — supporting children, adults and older patients alike — dermatology is a principal clinical interest. This enables patients to receive specialist-level skin assessment alongside ongoing family medical care within a single, trusted relationship.
